DB-Guru Consulting Rates and Pricing
DB-Guru's consulting rate averages out to about $600 to $900 per main table (this depends on how many fields are needed, and the complexity of the database). Included are table setup, form setup and one report per table, and I only charge for actual development time spent working on your project.
An average database can cost between $1,000 to $4,500 depending on complexity. I do not charge anything up front, and would not request a minimal partial payment until after you approve the table design and layout.
The source programming code is included in the cost of the database.
DB-Guru utilizes an iterative process, and we like to troubleshoot and test throughout the development process.
We strive for perfection in our work, but realize that being human, and with so many little bits within the database development process that there is a probability that there are errors that will initially be missed, however the iterative process really helps to catch those as we go along, and you will have a year for us to fix any of our errors that may crop up free of charge.
To assist you with budgeting, we can also set a cap on the cost of the database, so that we would not exceed that cost without your written approval.
Sample Possible Milestones for Payment
Below is a sample of the preferred milestones for payment. The dates and amounts are estimates, and would vary greatly depending on the complexity of the database and the turnaround time for approval. The basic tenet of our business is that there are No Up Front Payments, and no invoices are even sent until the project is approved up to that milestone.
